Era: Tang Dynasty

Size: diameter of mouth 10.0 cm, maximum diameter of abdomen 12.6 cm, diameter of foot 11.0 cm and height 15.8 cm

With glaze color of light greenish blue, long brown speckle decorated on both sides of the loops, plus green speckles on the opening and handle, the glaze surface is vivid and interesting. This kind of large mouthed, short and plump barrel-shaped handled ewer were discovered in large quantity in the Changsha Kiln, and the difference is those in the Changsha Kiln are mostly decorated with combination of additional embossed pattern and brown speckles.
